Powered by single 18650 battery, the iStick Pico 25 is capable of outputting a maximum power of 85W and can handle various tanks up to 25mm diameter. Follow up review, purchased the pico25 back in May (see previous review) and really liked it. Unfortunately, the mod is no longer working. It started to give error messages, (to hot, low battery etc,) even when the device was completely cool and the battery (good quality and in good condition) had sufficient charge, once the battery was below 50%. That went on for a few weeks, now it will only work if the battery is above 80% and even then it has problems. I have now switched back to my old kangertech box mod using the same batteries without issue. I have now gone through 5 standard picos and 1 pico25. None of them lasted more than 4 months. Next to old ego style EVOD, these are the worst quality devices I have used. It’s very unfortunate as I love the style and functionality of the Pico’s, which is evident by how many I have gone through. I just need something that will last and handle a bit of abuse. I have now ordered a Geekvape Agies which will be arriving anyday, hopefully my search for a quality single battery box mod is over!

I have high hopes for this version of the PICO. I have gone through 5 standard PICO’S, each broke due to the sane issue. Basically, IME if you drop/bump the standard PICO a few times the top or bottom piece separate and you can only use the mod by putting pressure on the top and bottom of the mod. I kept going back even with my poor experience because I love the look and functionality of tge PICO. With the PICO 25 they have eliminated this by having the housing as a single piece. Hopefully I get more than a few months out of this one. Anyway, I have only had this mod for a few hours and although I love it I have already had a bit of a bad experience relating to quality. I got a tiny bit of essential oil’s on my hand which I accidentally transferred to the screen. Within seconds it had damage the screen surface and now I have a fuzzy screen to look through. Now I am aware of the corrosive nature of essential oil’s but was surprised how quickly it damaged the screen so I decided to do some experiments. I took the same oil blend to some other broken mods (I didn’t have the heart to throw away) and put it on their screens - including an old pico original. On the other mods it barely effected the plastic at all. Now this is an odd issue that I bet no one else experienced, however it shows that eleaf use some poor quality materials in manufacturing the pico 25. Really though at under $15 I am happy. I just wish the PICO was made with better quality materials.
