Today I bring you a new POD-type device from the Kumiho brand. In this case, they bring a stick-type format, with a 900mAh battery and a maximum power of 35W. With this, they try to adapt to both MTL and RDL vaping, which in fact, both will be very satisfactory as will be discussed later in the review.
Thanks from here to Sue from Healthcabin for making this review possible. You can visit their website and learn more about the Kumiho Thoth G.
- Material: Aluminum alloy, PCTG
- Dimension: 13.5*25.7*110.9mm
- Resistance:0.6ohm
- Liquid Capacity: 2ml
- Battery Capacity 900mAh
Packaging
The Thoth G comes included inside a rectangular box, black in color in this case. In the center we can see a small window through which we witness the device. In the upper part we find the Kumiho branding, again, I emphasize that I really love the animal that comes out, replacing the letter “M” (After doing some research, I found that “Kumiho” is actually a mythological animal and translates to nine-tailed fox, hence that logo that replaces the “M”). On the right side we find some features of the device and finally, in the upper left corner, we observe the name of the model, Thoth G.

On the back, we find the usual in these packagings. In the first place, some general specs of the device, on the other hand, we can read the contents of the box

- 1*Thoth G Device
- 1*Thoth Series 0.6Ω Mesh Pod
- 1*User Manual
Finally, we find some contact addresses, such as the web page, the email, among others. In addition, it brings a scratch to verify the veracity of the product and a bar code that indicates the color of the device, in this case, Space Gray.
Device Inspection
First, let’s talk about the feeling in hand and the quality of the materials. For the most part, the Thoth G is made of an aluminum alloy, except in the cartridge, where as usual, we find PCTG. As for the weight, the Thoth G is really light, it can’t even be held only with the lips but it is really comfortable. If we talk about size, it is relatively smaller than the OXVA Nexlim, for example, although similar to the Xros 4 Mini.
Let’s talk a little about aesthetics now. In general, in the central parts we find an area that is different from the rest of the body. This area has a rather beautiful carbon fiber style and I think it combines well with the color of this unit. This part is exactly the same in all the colors that can be chosen. In the upper central part we find a bit of branding although very subtle and really aesthetic in this case, we can read “Thoth” with a really striking and beautiful typography. In the center, the actuation button separates both central areas into two parts. We can talk briefly about the actions of the button;
-5 Clicks to turn it on or off. Also, if it is already on, we can reset the puff counter and lock the button
-3 Clicks to access the power adjustment mode, here it will increase in 1 Watt increments up to the maximum allowed for the coil, then, it will reset to the minimum allowed for the coil.
After the button, we can see the other area of carbon fiber decoration, which although I am not quite convinced in vaping devices, in this one I really like it.

The screen part is really going to be very brief, since it is very simple and shows just the right information;
– Battery indicator (I’m not quite convinced, it doesn’t have slots or anything like that so it is subject to misinterpretations).
– Power in Watts.
– Locks.
– Ohm indicator.
– Puff counter.
I must say that it has enough brightness and looks quite good, in the sun it has shortcomings but like almost all screens in these devices.

From this back part we can see some branding in the lower central part, but, the important part is found on the side, where we can observe the air intake.
The intake seems quite satisfactory to me and fully meets my expectations, it filters the air very well and provides a satisfactory MTL, although, I would like it to be a little but very little more restricted.

These are the Thoth G cartridges, which if I’m not mistaken, are usable in any other pod-type device that is from the Thoth range. In this case, something that bothers me as I always say, is that it comes with a single cartridge, because in this way the client or user can only have one experience. I always support that at least two cartridges or coils are included to have different experiences and that the user knows how to decide on one or the other in the next purchase.
Leaving that aside, these cartridges hold a capacity of 2mL, enough for use with nicotine salts, although it may fall short if we use it in RDL with freebase, because the vaping frequency increases. In the image you can see the silicone tab, quite large, after opening it we can insert our bottle and fill it.
As a reminder, it is recommended not to let the liquid pass below the cotton of the coil, as it can reduce its lifespan.

On the side opposite the air intake we find the charging port, in this case Type-C as is usually the case lately.

Vaping Time
The testing time has arrived, we fill the 0.6Ω cartridge with a lemon lime liquid, we wait 5-10 minutes for it to soak well in the cotton and we are ready to vape.
Well, as for RDL vaping, the Thoth G is really great, the flavor is quite achieved and it is quite powerful, generally noticing all the nuances of the liquid. As for the lifespan of the coil, I have almost 1000 puffs and it is still perfectly vapeable.
As for the feeling in the hand, the Kumiho Thoth G is really light, although it cannot be held only with the lips.
In general, it is a very simple device and perfect for people who are starting in this, especially if it is accompanied with nicotine salts and proper use. It provides a great RDL and a pretty good MTL too, although I would have liked to try it with a higher Ω coil.

Conclusion
I sincerely believe that since I tried the first Kumiho device, at the beginning of this long journey in the world of reviews, the brand has been improving and innovating profoundly, even being able to compete with big brands if it had more international recognition. This particular device is really easy to use, and can be adapted to anyone, almost for any vaping mode, both RDL and MTL.
