Game Changer? Smoant Pasito Review

127

The Smoant Pasito was sent from HealthCabin for the purpose of review. I have used it for 2 weeks before posting this review. The Pasito should be the first pod system came with a RBA option, unfortunately, I did not get a RBA coil as it should be purchased separately, not included in the kit package.

Design & Build

Visually, it is another Lost Vape Orion styled pod system, but came with bigger capacity on pod and battery. The overall shape and appearance is common, while the panel finishing is cool with a glossy fingerprint proof finish. There are 4 colors, all looks attractive.

The fire button position is a bit low for me, better to put it higher for convenient use.

The pod and battery was connected by a big strong magnet, no need to worry about the pod will drop from the battery.

The drip tip cannot be replaced, not 510 drip tip, just like the Orion. Remove the whole drip tip you will be able to fill the pod, basically it is a top filling system, but the fill hole is a bit small, not the best.

While there is one more good design – adjustable airflow. Many pod systems cannot adjust the airflow, Pasito made it – move the airflow channel to a desired position to get your best airflow for MTL/DL vaping.

The coil is also changeable, screw your coil on the coil base and push the coil base into the pod, very easy to operate.

BTW, I love the package box, cool design.

Battery

The Pasito battery capacity is 1100mAh, can be fully charged in about 90 minutes, it is not good especially there is a USB C charging port, Smoant can do better for charging. Many similar devices with the same capacity are able to get fully charged around 60 minutes.

There are 5 indicators on the battery to show the wattage and battery level.

  • Battery level – each indicator stands for 20% of battery level
  • Wattage: 10W-13W-16W-20W-25W, personally I dont like this, 3 levels will be the best: 13W-20W-25W

For a fully charged battery, its hard to tell how long can it vape, as the wattage you’re going to vape will decide how long can it last. My favorite setup is 0.6ohm mesh coil on 20W, the battery is able to support my wholeday vaping.

Performance

The NI 80 1.4ohm MTL coil offered me a very decent flavor. Bettery to vape it on 10W or 13W output. Flavor and clouds are much closer to the experience you get from an MTL RDA. The MTL coil is suitable for both regular juice and nicotine salts.

If you prefer DL vaping then you will enjoy the 0.6ohm mesh coil, which is suitable for vaping on 16W, 20W & 25W. Personally I suggest you to vape at 20W for this coil. Clouds are really impressive at such a low wattage and flavour is almost as good as a sub ohm tank.

Unfortunately, I did not get a RBA section, so I cannot tell its good or bad here. But from the reviews by other reviewers, I will not suggest any new vapers to try it, as the building deck is too small, even many experienced vapers had troubles to build it properly.

Pros & Cons

  • Pros:
  • Changeable coils and RBA section
  • Adjustable airflow
  • Flavor is good for both coils
  • I love the appearance
  • Cons:
  • 5 wattage levels are too many, 3 levels will be the best
  • Hard to build the RBA

Where to Buy

If you’re interested in this pod system and wanna to buy one, please check it at HealthCabin, you may get it around $25 USD, very competitive price. Reminder – the RBA section was sold separately around $5.
